Online Registration

You are required to register with us before placing your first order online. Please click on Register to complete the registration form. Registration and/or use of our online shopping services acknowledges your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the  our Online Terms.

To register, you will be required to provide  personal information including payment details, your email address and password. Please keep your personal information secure.

We accept no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from unauthorized use of your personal information.

You will be required to enter your email address and password each time you visit our online shopping site. To amend any of your details, please go to My Account.  

Product Sales and Availability

All products displayed on our website subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa and within deliver areas. All prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands and are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to discontinue or change prices and specifications of our products and services from time to time without notice. We will inform you as soon as possible if any of the products or services ordered by you are not available.

Colors and Items Displayed

We have made every effort to ensure that the colors of the jewellery that appear on our website, display as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on the device that you use to access our website, we cannot warrant that your device’s display of any color will be accurate.  All jewellery displayed on our website may be enlarged to show detail and may not be the actual size when purchased.  All information, however, in terms of metal, and size next to each product description is 100% accurate.

All pendants are sold separately unless otherwise stated.  Images of pendants with chains are for display purposes only.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Content Errors

We regret that no order will be accepted if we identify a material error in the description of any of our goods or services or their prices on our website.

Pricing

You will be charged the prices that are reflected on our website subject to availability and delivery address. Prices and promotions may vary depending on whether you have access to our services via our website. Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions, including stock availability and limited offer stipulations. Special promotions apply only to items on your original order (i.e., not on items which are added after the order was placed.)

All orders will be subject to a minimum R70 delivery charge and, depending on the area, may be charged to a maximum of R150.  Orders in a non-major metropolitan area may be charged to a maximum of R150 per order.

Agreement of Sale

Placing an item in a shopping basket or adding it to a wishlist without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale between Sterling Silver 925 and the user and users cannot hold Sterling Silver 925 liable if such items are not available when the purchase cycle is completed later and/or constitute an order for such an item.

An agreement of sale between Sterling Silver 925 and a user only comes into effect upon a written approval by Sterling Silver 925 confirming EFT funds have been received.

Sterling Silver 925 reserves the right to cancel orders in whole or in part as circumstances dictate. Sterling Silver shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the buyer.

Payment methods

Payments are made via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) into the Sterling Silver 925’s bank account provided in your invoice.  The details of which will be provided after checkout.

Note that to protect its own and the interests of customers, Sterling Silver 925 scrutinizes all transactions very carefully to prevent attempted fraud and a transaction may be refused if Sterling Silver 925 is not satisfied with its legitimacy.

Stock Availability

We cannot always guarantee stock availability and will endeavor to either obtain stock from our various suppliers.  We will immediately advise you of this and advise delivery times of the requested item.

Confirmation of Orders

Your offer is deemed to be accepted when you receive an order confirmation.  All orders received on a weekend will be processed on the Monday.

Order Processing & Delivery:

Order will begin processing once payment has been received and it has cleared. Payments can take up to two days to reflect.

We process orders and allocate payments once a day, therefore orders are not immediately allocated to processing.

You will receive email notifications at the various stages of your order progress.

Shipping Policy

We use reputable courier companies to deliver your orders to your door anywhere in South Africa within 3-7 business days at a minimum of R75.00 delivery charge. 

A tracking number will be sent to you upon dispatch

Deliveries take place from Monday to Friday, during office hours, but not on public holidays or weekends.

Sterling Silver 925 cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery once your order has been dispatched and left us and is in the possession of our courier partner.

All information related to delivery times are only guidelines and are not binding or guaranteed by Sterling Silver 925. If the ordered product is unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel the contract and not deliver it. In this case, you will be informed by Sterling Silver 925 shortly after placing the order.

Sterling Silver 925 reserves the right to charge additional shipping costs if these occur for example at unsuccessful delivery or refused acceptance. We kindly ask you to cover the shipping costs for your return to Sterling Silver 925. The return costs from all other countries and within South Africa are not refunded by Sterling Silver 925.

Please note that our courier partners are unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Sterling Silver 925 will not be held responsible or liable for incorrect delivery details supplied by customers when checking out. When selecting our courier option, it will be necessary for someone to sign to acknowledge the receipt of the parcel upon delivery.

Return & Exchange Policy

You have 24 Hour to return an unwanted item from the date you received it from the courier.

Items have to be unworn, in their original condition and the packaging unopened as when shipped to you.

For hygiene reasons, any earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.

The return expense will be for the customers’ account.

Damaged items

In the unlikely event that any jewellery from Sterling Silver 925 is delivered defective, we will gladly replace the item.

You will need to contact Sterling Silver 925 and send pictures of the damaged jewellery via  e-mail to rene@silverjewellery.co.za WITHIN 24 hours of receiving it from the courier.

In the unlikely event of the item not reported within 24 hours, we will unfortunately not be able to replace or exchange your jewellery.

Sterling Silver 925 will cover the cost of the return.

Transaction currency

All transactions will be in South African Rand ZAR, and deliveries will only be within the Republic of South Africa. All transactions converted to South African Rands will be converted at the current exchange rate of the day and may differ due to currency fluctuation.

Export Restrictions

Online sales and deliveries will only be within the Republic of South Africa.

Children

If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Services offered via this Website only with the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you represent that you are of sufficient legal age to use the Services offered via this Website you will be bound by any legal obligations and liabilities that you may incur as a result of your use of the Services. You agree to supervise all usage by minors of this Website under your name of account.
